Change the Way You Work with the Samsung Galaxy Book2

Samsung elevates the mobile PC experience with LTE connectivity, multi-workday battery and included S Pen and keyboard for the modern work-life experience

Samsung Electronics America, Inc., today announced the Galaxy Book2—a new, always on, always connected PC that gives you the power to stay ahead of the game in a world that never slows down. With a multi-workday battery, Gigabit LTE connectivity[1], and included keyboard and S Pen, the Galaxy Book2 allows you to work however and wherever you want. By bringing together the best of Samsung mobile computing technology, the Qualcomm® Snapdragon ™ [2]850 mobile compute platform, and the Windows experience, the Galaxy Book2 offers next level performance.
“The way the world works is undergoing an incredible transformation, and users need technology that keeps them connected and ready for anything when they’re out in the world getting things done,” said Alanna Cotton, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Samsung Electronics America. “The Galaxy Book2 brings together Samsung’s hardware and connectivity leadership with innovations from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and Microsoft for a two-in-one that uniquely delivers PC productivity and superior mobility.”

Multi-workday Battery

The freedom to work anywhere requires the confidence that your PC will always be ready to go. Whether you’re working from an office, on-site, or just making your way through a day of meetings, you need a battery that can keep up. You need to know that you can do it all without constantly looking to see how many minutes of power you have left. With the long-lasting battery in the Galaxy Book2, you can work uninterrupted for up to 20 hours[3]—more than two full work days. And with Adaptive Fast charging, you can recharge quickly whenever you find a spare moment.

Stay Connected with LTE

Connectivity isn’t a luxury, it’s an essential; it’s something everyone needs to do their job. Galaxy Book2 delivers connectivity that untethers you. With Gigabit LTE connectivity, you’ll never skip a beat when you are not near a WiFi connection. Samsung leveraged its legacy of innovation and leadership in the mobile arena to bring LTE connectivity to PCs, so you can send emails, chat with co-workers, and access files from the cloud from the moment you turn on their device.

Included Keyboard and S Pen

The Galaxy Book2 takes your work to the next level with a keyboard and S Pen that come included in the box. The keyboard doubles as a screen cover, to keep your Galaxy Book2 protected wherever you go. With the S Pen, you can take notes, mark up documents, and even translate phrases—all with a pen that never has to be charged.

The Best of the Galaxy Ecosystem

The Galaxy Book2 brings the best Samsung features and functionality to the two-in-one space: Its immersive, 12” Super AMOLED display, along with two speakers tuned by AKG with built-in Dolby Atmos®, make every presentation and video look and sound stunning. At the same time, the Galaxy Book2 works seamlessly with your other Samsung devices—use Samsung Flow to transfer files, and sync and mirror with your Galaxy phone to see notifications in real-time, right on your screen.
“PC consumers deserve the same smooth, fast and always connected user experience they are used to on their smartphones.” said Don McGuire, Vice President, Global Product Marketing, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. “Featuring the ultra-fast Snapdragon™ 850 mobile compute platform, the Galaxy Book2 delivers the instant connectivity, multi-day battery life, unrivaled speed and multi-tasking that consumers desire.”
“Today’s users are looking for seamless productivity experiences that are both familiar and trusted—built for working anywhere and secure in any environment,” said Erin Chapple, Corporate Vice President, Platforms Engineering, Microsoft. “With Windows 10 in S Mode, users will feel right at home writing documents, creating spreadsheets, and designing presentations. And with Microsoft-verified security, they’ll know that their most sensitive data is protected. It’s these types of experiences that make connected computing the backbone for a successful modern workplace, where productivity can happen anywhere and everywhere.”

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 will be available online at ATT.com, Microsoft.com and Samsung.com for $999.99 starting November 2, 2018, and will be available in stores at AT&T, Sprint and Verizon later in the month.
