Samsung announced the imminent presentation of its most powerful notebooks

A couple of days ago, Samsung published a teaser with the upcoming announcement of "the most powerful Galaxy device", without specifying what exactly is meant. Today, various tech resources, citing industry insiders, have reported that these will be next-generation laptop computers. It is assumed that on April 28, during a special online presentation, the Galaxy Book Pro 360 convertible notebooks with outstanding technical characteristics will be shown. In addition, there will be laptops in the traditional Samsung Galaxy Book Pro form factor, and possibly budget solutions from the Galaxy Book Go series.

Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 will receive a convertible 2-in-1 design. The published renders show that the device is equipped with a pair of USB-C ports, USB-A and HDMI connectors. In turn, the Galaxy Book Pro has the same connectivity, apart from the USB-A port.

It is assumed that the Galaxy Book Pro will receive a 13.3-inch OLED screen, while the Galaxy Book Pro 360 will offer its owners a 15.6-inch OLED screen. These laptops will feature 11th Gen Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors in various configurations. New items will come pre-installed with Windows 10.

The Galaxy Book Pro will receive built-in Wi-Fi and LTE wireless modules, while the Galaxy Book Pro 360 version will be able to support Wi-Fi and 5G. The computers will be available in blue and silver.

It is also expected to announce the budget computer Galaxy Book Go, which will receive a 14-inch screen with FullHD resolution, Windows 10 Home, Snapdragon 7cx / Snapdragon 8cx Gen SoCs, 4 / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128 / 256GB UFS 2.1 flash memory.

Сегодня различные техноресурсы со ссылкой на отраслевых инсайдеров сообщили, что это будут портативные компьютеры нового поколения. Предполагается, что 28 апреля, в ходе специальной онлайн-презентации, будут показаны ноутбуки-трансформеры Galaxy Book Pro 360 с выдающимися техническими характеристиками, а также ноутбуки в традиционном форм-факторе Samsung Galaxy Book Pro, и, возможно, бюджетные решения серии Galaxy Book Go.

Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 получит трансформируемый дизайн 2-в-1. На опубликованных рендерах видно, что устройство оснащено парой портов USB-C, разъёмами USB-A и HDMI. В свою очередь, Galaxy Book Pro имеет те же возможности подключения, кроме порта USB-A.

Предполагается, что Galaxy Book Pro получит 13,3-дюймовый OLED-экран, а Galaxy Book Pro 360 предложит своим владельцам 15,6-дюймовый аналог. В различных конфигурациях этих ноутбуков будут устанавливаться процессоры Intel Core i5 и Core i7 11-го поколения. Новинки будут поставляться с предустановленной ОС Windows 10.

Сегодня корпорация Samsung Electronics представила обновлённый PC-трансформер «2-в-1» Samsung Notebook 9 Pen (2019) под управлением ОС Windows 10.
Базовая модель оснащена 13-дюймовым экраном, но также появился и 15-дюймовый вариант с тем же разрешением Full HD (1920×1080). Обе новинки используют для работы процессор Intel Core i7 8-го поколения.
При выборе 15-дюймового варианта Samsung Notebook 9 Pen (2019) клиент получает конфигурацию с графическим процессором NVIDIA GeForce MX150 с 2Гб видеопамяти.
Как следует из названия девайса, его спецификации, как и прежде, включают стилус S Pen, что делает ноутбук хорошим выбором для дизайнеров, художников и представителей других творческих профессий. В официальном пресс-релизе вендор сообщает, что обновлённая версия S Pen превосходит предыдущую модель по скорости отклика в 2 раза.
Любители путешествий наверняка порадуются увеличенному времени автономной работы, которое у Samsung Notebook 9 Pen (2019) составляет около 15 часов. Кроме того, батарея поддерживает технологию быстрой зарядки.
Больше подробностей о спецификациях этих устройств можно будет узнать на январской выставке CES 2019, где Samsung традиционно представляет свои новые модели персональных компьютеров.
На сегодняшний день известно, что обе модели обладают небольшим весом - 1,12 и 1,56 кг у 13- и 15-дюймового варианта соответственно. Обе новинки оснащены PCIe NVMe SSD, имеют на борту адаптер Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2×2 (Giga Wi-Fi), порты Thunderbolt 3 (2), USB-C, слот для карт памяти формата UFS и microSD combo.
Для идентификации владельца устройства используется дактилоскопический датчик. В налчии также имеется инфракрасная камера с поддержкой функции распознавания лиц Windows Hello.
В продажу Samsung Notebook 9 Pen (2019) поступит в следующем году на рынки Северной и Южной Америки, а также некоторых стран Азии. В обнищавшую Россию самые надёжные на сегодняшний день ноутбуки поставляться не будут, поскольку местный рынок PC уже практически полностью захвачен дешёвыми "китайцами".

В ответ на недавно представленный корпорацией Microsoft планшет "два в одном" под названием Surface Pro 6, Samsung отвечает схожим трансформером Galaxy Book2. Но в отличие от американского, южнокорейский техногигант вместо процессора Intel выбрал топовое ARM-решение от Qualcomm.
Samsung Galaxy Book 2 получил 12-дюймовый дисплей Super AMOLED с разрешением 2160x1440 пикселей и поддержкоу стилуса S Pen. Регулируемая подставка встроена в корпус, есть подключаемая клавиатура, которая во время транспортировки защищает фронтальную панель. Внутри установлен 8-ядерный чипсет Snapdragon 850 с тактовой частотой до 2.96 ГГц и 4Гб ОЗУ. Встроенный накопитель имеет объём 128 ГБ, также есть слот для сменных карточек microSD.
Устройство работает под управлением ОС Windows 10 с режимом S Mode (приложения из магазина Microsoft Store), но есть возможность бесплатно перейти на полную версию системы. ARM-компьютеры поддерживают подключение к интернету даже в спящем режиме, поэтому пользователь сразу узнаёт о новом письме или сообщении в Skype.
Планшет получил два порта USB Type-C. Возле основной 8-мегапиксельной камеры на задней панели расположился сканер отпечатков пальцев для входа в Windows 10 без ввода паролей. Galaxy Book 2 поступит в продажу на американском рынке 2 ноября по цене $1000. В комплект поставки входят клавиатура и фирменный стилус S Pen. В Европе новинка вряд ли появится, так как Samsung не особо жалует этот регион своим вниманием, поскольку здесь властвуют дешёвые китайцы.

Глобальный поставщик облачных сервисов Ingram Micro объявил о сотрудничестве с корпорациями Samsung и Amazon для запуска полноценной версии Windows на флагманских смартфонах южнокорейского гиганта. Они разработали решение для автоматизации Amazon WorkSpaces и Microsoft Windows Desktop as a Service (DaaS) для Galaxy Note8, Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus и док-станции Samsung DeX, позволяющее использовать эти смартфоны в качестве полноценного компьютера на базе Windows 10.

Samsung teams up with Ingram Micro for easy virtual Windows Desktop for Samsung Dex

Technology solution provider Ingram Micro Inc. has teamed up with Samsung and Amazon to create a solution for those who want to access Windows applications from their Samsung phone, similar to what was available via HP Workspaces on the HP Elite X3.
Their solution automates the setup of Amazon WorkSpaces and Microsoft Windows Desktop as a Service (DaaS) for Samsung Galaxy Note8, Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ and Samsung DeX prosumers so they can be up and running with a virtual desktop on their smartphone in just a few easy steps.
“With the latest Samsung smartphones and DeX Station, Amazon WorkSpaces and other services from the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace, we are excited to provide this innovative solution to our partners and their customers.”
The Samsung DeX Station connects the Galaxy Note8 or Galaxy S8/S8+ to any type of FHD display with an HDMI port, as well as a mouse and keyboard, to provide a desktop experience powered by your smartphone.
By combining Samsung DeX with Amazon WorkSpaces, Prosumers can gain a more powerful desktop experience with the ability to securely access their own Microsoft Windows virtual desktop, files and applications, giving users like students, freelancers and entrepreneurs access to a full Microsoft Windows-based desktop right from their Samsung DeX Station and smartphone setup.
Amazon Workspaces can be billed hourly for around $0.22 per hour or monthly from around $35 per month for unlimited usage.

A 30-day free trial of Amazon WorkSpaces is available to Samsung Galaxy Note8, Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ and Samsung DeX customers in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Netherlands, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. This offer can only be accessed through the Windows Desktop Free Trial DeX app on the Samsung Galaxy App Store, and to sign up users will need have a Dex dock already connected.
