По неофициальным данным, исходящим от сотрудников магазинов, собирающих предзаказы на новые носимые устройства Samsung в России, их количество держится на рекордном уровне.
Похоже, что Samsung становится серьёзным конкурентом Apple в сегменте премиальных смарт-часов, внедряя самые передовые решения, которые позволяют с достаточно высокой точностью мониторить физическое состояние владельца, а также предоставляют широкие возможности в плане коммуникаций.
Ожидается, что в следующем году, после программного обновления, Galaxy Watch Active2 позволят их владельцам снимать электрокардиограмму, что до последнего времени считалось эксклюзивной опцией конкурирующих Apple Watch.
Благодаря этому часы смогут предупреждать своих обладателей о возможном сердечном приступе, а также самостоятельно отправлять сигнал о помощи, если зафиксирует падение и потерю сознания.
Также ожидается, что благодаря разработке более совершенного сенсора, отслеживающего состояние здоровья, новые смарт-часы от Samsung позволят получать данные об артериальном давлении пользователя (предварительно будет необходимо измерить давление обычном тонометром и внести его показания в память часов, чтобы специальная программа опиралась на эти данные для дальнейшего автоматического мониторинга).
Напомним, что предзаказы на несколько модификаций модели Galaxy Watch Active2 (кроме LTE-версии, которая не поставляется из-за фактического запрета технологии виртуальных карт eSIM на территории РФ), открыты с 17 по 26 сентября. Старт продаж намечен на 27 сентября. Тем, кто успеет сделать предзаказ, в качестве бонуса будет предложен внешний аккумулятор со встроенной внешней зарядкой, стоимость которого в местной рознице составляет 4.000 рублей.

It is also expected that thanks to the development of a more advanced sensor that monitors the state of health, the new smart watch from Samsung will allow to receive data on the user's blood pressure (to run this option, you must first measure the pressure several times with a conventional tonometer and enter this data into the watch’s memory so that a special program relies on this information for further automatic monitoring.).
Pre-orders for several modifications of the Galaxy Watch Active2 model (except for the LTE version, which is not supplied due to the actual prohibition of eSIM virtual card technology in the Russian Federation), are open from September 17 to September 26. The start of sales is scheduled for September 27.

В последние несколько дней в профильных изданиях поднялся шум относительно "неуместного троллинга", который устроило испанское подразделение Samsung Mobile в отношении китайской компании Huawei. Многие принялись обвинять лидера мобильного рынка в том, что он издевается над "лежачим больным", коим представляется Huawei, лишённая властями США доступа к сервисам Google за шпионскую деятельность, а также нарушение санкционного режима в отношении Ирана и Северной Кореи.
Всё началось в конце прошлой недели, когда СМИ узнали, что испаноязычное рекламное сообщение от Samsung Mobile, разосланное партнёрам, сопровождалось фразой "наслаждайтесь сервисами Google", в чём видится намёк на "кастрированный" Huawei Mate 30, представленный на днях в Мюнхене на помпезной вечеринке для журналистов. Ввиду того, что потенциальные пользователи отныне не смогут получить доступ к привычным сервисам, покупка новых смартфонов этого китайского производителя становится, мягко говоря, не очень привлекательной. Появились сообщения, что из-за этого Huawei откажется от продаж Mate 30 в целом ряде европейских стран.
Тем не менее, лёгкое злорадство Samsung вполне объяснимо, если вспомнить недавнюю историю, когда китайцы обидели своих южнокорейских партнёров.
В 2014-м году Samsung начал активно продвигать идею создания альтернативы Android, а именно, открытой операционной системы TIZEN на базе Linux, которая выгодно отличалась своей универсальностью, экономичностью, быстродействием, и, что самое главное, отсутствием возможности несанкционированного слежения за абонентом, поскольку никаких тайных "фоновых операций" там не предусматривалось изначально, в отличие от "программного Франкенштейна", порождённого Google.
Тогда глава Huawei высокомерно отказался принимать идею коллективной поддержки TIZEN, понадеявшись, что его компания сама будет "задавать стандарты" в отрасли, выкатив свою собственную ОС. При этом Huawei не спешила выходить из TIZEN-ассоциации, оставшись там в качестве наблюдателя и нагло воруя свежие идеи разработчиков.
Но вот грянул гром: американцы "забанили" Huawei, лишив её смартфоны доступа к сервисам Google, которые являются главным ценностным компонентом Android OS. Что теперь делать? Поначалу в Huawei хорохорились, заявляя, что у них уже практически готова "выдающаяся альтернатива" в виде собственной HongMeng OS (в Европе её рекомендовано называть Harmony, то есть "Гармония"). Была даже созвана специальная пресс-конференция, где в сенсационных красках живописали "невероятные преимущества" творения китайских программистов. Правда, злые языки поговаривали, что HongMeng, по большей части, разрабатывали финны, оставшиеся не удел после крушения мобильного бизнеса компании Nokia.
Однако, спустя некоторое время, когда весь этот рекламный дым рассеялся, выяснилось, что HongMeng "не совсем пригодна" для использования в смартфонах. Теперь китайцы говорят, что HongMeng якобы изначально проектировалась для "интернета вещей" (IoT), а на смартфоны её устанавливать не очень целесообразно. Более того, топ-менеджмент Huawei вдруг стал говорить, что они вовсе не хотят отказываться от Android и очень надеются на милость американцев, которые, возможно, "снимут ограничения" после переговоров Белого Дома и коммунистического Пекина.
Иными словами, мыльный пузырь "Гармонии" лопнул, не успев как следует надуться. К тому же разработчики не спешат переделывать свои мобильные приложения под HongMeng, тем более что никакой внятной информации о её будущем до сих пор нет. То китайцы клянутся, что вложат в развитие своей ОС не менее 1,5 миллиардов долларов, то заявляют, что не хотели бы "соскакивать" с Android. Иными словами, в огороде бузина, а в Киеве дядька.
Но если бы в 2014-м китайцы не были столь высокомерными и приняли идею Samsung, сегодня мобильный мир не корчился бы от практически безальтернативного выбора между американскими платформами iOS и Android, которые далеко не всех устраивают. "Глупые пингвины", которые орут на мобильных форумах, что "нам и с Android хорошо", не понимают, что американские власти или сам холдинг Alphabet/Google могут в любой момент "перекрыть форточку" зависимым от них производителям "железа" по той или иной причине, не говоря уже о том, что сама платформа Android морально устарела и вовсе не является образцом "программного гения". ОС стала слишком тяжеловесной, перегружена массой лишних опций, да к тому же позволяет шпионить за владельцами любых устройств, на которые она установлена.
Что ж, как тут не вспомнить крылатую фразу "Хорошо смеётся тот, кто смеётся последним" или её переиначенный вариант от известного советского сатирика "Хорошо смеётся тот, кто смеётся без последствий". Судя по всему, в Huawei эту очевидную мудрость не знали, либо основательно подзабыли...

In the past few days, there has been a buzz in profile publications regarding the "inappropriate trolling" that the Spanish division of Samsung Mobile has arranged for the Chinese company Huawei. Many began to blame the leader of the mobile market for "mocking Huawei's bedridden patient", who was deprived by the US authorities of access to Google services for espionage activities, as well as for violation of sanctions against Iran and North Korea.
It all started at the end of last week, when the media found out that the Spanish-language advertising message from Samsung Mobile, sent to partners, ended with the phrase “enjoy Google services”, which shows an obscene hint at the “castrated” Huawei Mate 30, presented recently in Munich at the pompous party for reporters. Due to the fact that from now on, potential users will not be able to access the usual Google services, buying new smartphones from this Chinese manufacturer is, to put it mildly, not very attractive. There were reports that because of this, Huawei will refuse to sell the Mate 30 in a number of European countries.
Nevertheless, Samsung’s slight gloating is understandable, if we recall the recent history when the chinese offended their south korean partners.
In 2012, Samsung, Intel and a number of large partners began to actively promote the idea of creating an alternative to Android, namely, the open TIZEN operating system based on Linux. The new OS compares favorably with its versatility, cost-effectiveness, speed, and, most importantly, the lack of the possibility of unauthorized tracking of owners of mobile and other devices. Unlike the "frankenstein" generated by Google (Android), TIZEN does not carry out any secret "background operations", which significantly increases the security of users.
Then the head of Huawei arrogantly refused to accept the idea of collective support for TIZEN, hoping that his company itself would "set standards" in the industry by developing its own OS. At the same time, Huawei was in no hurry to leave the TIZEN association, remaining there as an observer and brazenly stealing fresh ideas.
But then thunder struck: the Americans "banned" Huawei, depriving its smartphones of access to Google services, which are the main value component of Android OS. So what's now?
At first, Huawei scammed around, claiming that they were almost ready for the “outstanding alternative” in the form of their own HongMeng OS (in Europe it is recommended to call Harmony). A special press conference was even convened, where the "incredible advantages" of the work of Chinese programmers were painted in sensational colors. True, evil languages said that HongMeng OS mainly developed the Finns who were left without job after the collapse of Nokia's mobile business.
However, when the advertising smoke cleared, it turned out that HongMeng was "not entirely suitable" for use on smartphones. Now the Chinese say that HongMeng was supposedly originally designed for the “Internet of Things” (IoT), and it is not very advisable to install it on smartphones. Moreover, the top management of Huawei suddenly began to say that they did not want to abandon Android and really hope for the grace of the Americans, who may "remove the restrictions" after the negotiations of the White House and communist Beijing.
In other words, the Harmony soap bubble burst before it had time to inflate properly. In addition, developers are in no hurry to remake their mobile applications for HongMeng, especially since there is still no clear information about its future. On the one hand, the Chinese swear that they will invest at least $ 1.5 billion in the development of their OS, but at the same time they declare that they would not want to leave Android. That is, they want to sit on two chairs at once.
But if in 2014 the Chinese were not so arrogant and accepted the idea of Samsung, the history of the mobile industry could go in a different scenario. Most likely, we would not have to be in a situation of no alternative choice between american iOS and Android, which suit not all consumers. Fools who yell at mobile forums that they do not need anything other than Android, do not understand that at any time they can "close the window" for political or economic reasons. The same applies to all major manufacturers of Android smartphones, which have actually become slaves to Google and are not making any efforts to create an alternative. Meanwhile, Android is obsolete and is not at all a model of "software genius." This operating system has become too heavyweight, overloaded with a lot of extra options, and also allows you to spy on the owners of any devices on which it is installed.
How can one not recall the well-known saying, "The one who laughs last is good at laughing"? One famous satirist once remade this phrase and it has become even more relevant: "The One laughs well who laughs without sad consequences." Apparently, Huawei did not know this obvious wisdom, or completely forgot it ...
