Samsung начинает борьбу с "китайским нашествием" путём запуска онлайн-продаж новой линейки смартфонов Galaxy M на индийском рынке

Samsung продолжает изыскивать способы противодействия натиску китайских конкурентов на ключевых рынках мобильных устройств. В рамках этой программы сегодня в Индии состоялась презентанция абсолютно новой линейки Android-смартфонов Galaxy M, которая довольно сильно выделяется на фоне бюджетных моделей южнокорейского вендора прошлых лет.
Налицо явное стремление лидера мобильной индустрии усилить аппаратную часть недорогих устройств с одновременным удержанием цен в нижнем диапазоне. Именно поэтому было принято нестандартное для Samsung решение наладить онлайн-продажи новых девайсов через местного партнёра в лице индийского отделения Amazon.
Итак, чем же Samsung намерен привлечь индийскую аудиторию, основательно "подсевшую" в последнее время на демпинговые предложения китайской Xiaomi, которая ради захвата рыночной доли идёт на прямые убытки, в результате чего её акции просели аж на 21%?
"Первыми ласточками" 2019 года стали модели Samsung Galaxy M10 и Galaxy M20 с М-образной выемкой (по версии Samsung она V-образная) для сэлфи-камеры на почти "безрамочном" дисплее. Правда, старшую (и наиболее ожидаемую) модель M30 почему-то не показали. Тем не менее, небогатых жителей Индии, коих насчитывается несколько сотен миллионов, наверняка порадуют ценовые предложения от A-брэнда на самые доступные Galaxy M. Цены здесь варьируется в диапазоне 112 - 155 долларов США.
Семейство Galaxy M "ориентировано на миллениалов", что неоднократно подчёркивалось в сегодняшней презентации. Правда, чем уж так отличаются от "миллениалов" все остальные, не совсем понятно. В Samsung пояснили, что для "миллениалов" предусмотрены специальные тарифные планы на интернет-трафик по выгодным ценам — они, разумеется, действуют лишь в случае их покупки вместе со смартфоном, иначе "зависнуть" в интернете за минимальную цену не получится.
Миллениалам со скромным достатком адресована младшая модель линейки - Galaxy M10. Она оснащена экраном с диагональю 6,2 дюйма и разрешением 1480x720 пикселей, двойной камерой с датчиками изображения разрешением 13 и 5 Мп (диафрагма в 1-м модуле — F/1,9 дюйма, а во 2-м— F/2,2) и однокристальной платформой Exynos 7870 с 8- ядерным CPU частотой 1,6 ГГц и GPU Mali-T830 (ровно как бестселлере 2017 года Galaxy J7).  
В минимальной версии 2Гб ОЗУ и 16 Гб флэш-памяти (это чуть хуже чем в J7 2017), в топовой — 3Гб ОЗУ и 32Гб флэш-памяти (чуть лучше чем в базовой версии J7 2017). Также в конфигурации смартфона имеется фронтальная камера с разрешением 5Мп с диафрагмой F/2,2 (в то время как Galaxy J7 (2017) имеет 13-мегапиксельную сэлфи-камеру), сканер отпечатков пальцев на тыльной панели, аккумуляторная батарея емкостью 3400 мА·ч. Габариты модели - 160,6x76,1x7,9 мм, масса — 163 грамма.
Galaxy M20 больше по габаритам и мощнее по "железу". Здесь установлен дисплей с диагональю 6,3 дюйма и разрешением 2340x1080 пикселей, а также анонсированная совсем недавно SoC Exynos 7904. Объём ОЗУ побольше - 3-4Гб, объём флэш-памяти — 32 или 64Гб. Ёмкость аккумуляторной батареи отличная — 5000 мА·ч. Также имеется порт USB-C и встроенный NFC-модуль для работы мобильного кошелька Samsung Pay. При этом набор камер абсолютно такой же, как у Galaxy M10. Габариты Galaxy M20 — 156,6x74,5x8,8 мм, масса - 186 граммов. Поддерживается система ускоренной зарядки.
Новинки дебютируют на индийском рынке 5 февраля. Когда эти аппараты появятся в других странах, пока неизвестно.

Samsung India today launched Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10 smartphones that have been designed ground up in the country for young millennials. Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10 will be available on Amazon.in and Samsung.com from February 5, 2019. Galaxy M20 and M10 will be available in Ocean Blue and Charcoal Black colours. Galaxy M20 will be priced at INR 12,990 for the 4GB+64GB variant, while the 3GB+32GB variant will cost INR 10,990. Galaxy M10 is priced at INR 8,990 for the 3GB+32GB variant and INR 7,990 for the 2GB+16GB.
