Samsung Electronics объявил о партнёрстве с Manna Drone Delivery, в рамках которого покупатели в Ирландии смогут получать мобильные устройства при помощи дронов. В случае приобретения Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Watch 3 и Samsung Galaxy A на сайте официального интернет-магазина Samsung стала доступна опция доставки девайсов беспилотниками.
Новая услуга, которую Samsung предоставляет впервые в мире, обеспечит непрерывное бесконтактное взаимодействие с клиентами с момента оформления онлайн-заказа в своём ирландском интернет-магазине до получения ими продуктов. Изначально сервис будет доступен только для жителей города Оранмор, при этом в будущем Samsung и Manna намерены распространить доставку по воздуху на территорию всей страны.
Manna использует специально разработанные беспилотные летательные аппараты аэрокосмического класса для доставки продукции покупателям. Дроны компании движутся на высоте 50-80 метров и развивают скорость более 60 км/ч, что позволяет им привезти заказ на дом за 3 минуты.

Samsung Partners With Manna To Launch Drone Delivery Service To Irish Customers
Samsung Electronics announced a new partnership with Manna Drone Delivery, a move that will see drone delivery made available to Irish customers when purchasing the latest range of Galaxy devices (including the S21 Ultra, the Galaxy Buds Pro, the Galaxy Tab S7, the Galaxy Watch 3, and Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy A Series) via Samsung.com/ie.
The new service, which is a first for Samsung globally, will facilitate an end-to-end contactless experience for Samsung customers from their initial online order through the company’s Irish eStore, right through to fulfillment. The service will first be made available to customers based in Oranmore with Samsung and Manna keen to expand this service nationwide in the future.
Manna uses custom-developed aerospace grade drones to deliver products directly to customer’s homes. Their drones fly at an altitude of 50-80 meters and a speed of over 60kph – enabling delivery to homes in Oranmore within 3 minutes.

The drone delivery option will be available to Oranmore-based customers who purchase a Galaxy device via Samsung.com/ie from 24th March.
