Подразделение Samsung Electronics America анонсировало новую линейку карт памяти microSDXC EVO Plus, рассчитанную на использование в мощных мобильных устройствах и фото/видеокамерах.
Серия включает варианты объёмом 32Гб, 64Гб, 128Гб, 256Гб и 512 Гб. В комплект поставки включён SD-адаптер для использования карт в устройствах, не имеющих отдельного слота для microSD.
Заявленная скорость последовательного чтения информации достигает 100 Мбайт/с, скорость записи — 90 Мбайт/с, то есть новинки подходят для работы с видеоматериалами в формате 4К.
Samsung microSDXC EVO Plus выполнены в соответствии с технологией 4-Proof Protection. Это означает, что картам памяти не страшны 72-часовые погружения в морскую воду, перепады температур, воздействие рентгеновского излучения и магнитных полей.
Заявленный диапазон рабочих температур варьируется от -25 до +85 градусов по Цельсию. На изделия предоставляется гарантия сроком 10 лет.

2 мая корпорация Samsung Electronics сообщила о начале выпуска карт памяти microSD, гарантирующей возможность непрерывной Full HD видеозаписи  течение 43.800 часов. Такие карты будут особенно востребованы различными секьюрити-службами и автомобилистами, использующих видеорегистраторы.
В пресс-релизе южнокорейского техногиганта говорится, что поскольку 128-гигабайтные версии карт памяти PRO Endurance способны фиксировать файлы, которые можно перезаписывать непрерывно по "кольцевому" методу в течение 5 лет, пользователям не нужно беспокоиться об оставшемся объёме свободного пространства, что делает это решение одним из лучших на рынке.
PRO Endurance имеют скорость чтения/записи 100 Мб/сек и 30 Мб/сек соответственно и оптимизированы для записи видео высокого качества. Карты могут гарантировать бесперебойную работу в диапазонах температур от -25 до +80 градусов по Цельсию, при этом вендор отмечает, что они защищены от умеренных механических воздействий и рентгеновского излучения.
