LED-кинотеатры Samsung Onyx открыты уже в 16-ти странах

Как сообщает бизнес-портал The Investor, с момента своего дебюта 2 года назад уникальная технология LED-кинотеатров от Samsung Electronics проникла ны рынки 16-ти стран.
Южнокорейский техногигант впервые продемонстрировал профессиональное решение Samsung Onyx Theatre, основанное на эксклюзивной разработке с применением иммерсивных LED-панелей, на крупнейшей в мире выставке киноиндустрии CinemaCon 2017 в Лас-Вегасе (США). Разработка Samsung ознаменовала начало новой эры в цифровом кинематографе, упразднив устаревшую проекционную технологию, которая правила миром 126 лет, с момента её первой демонстрации братьями Люмьер.
LED-экраны Samsung, получившие фирменный брэнд Onyx, обеспечивают исключительно высокую контрастность, цветовой охват и уровень яркости, поддерживают передовую технологию HDR (в 2D и 3D), что позволяет расширить границы существующих систем кинопоказа и вывести его на новый уровень погружения зрителей в происходящее на экране. 
После запуска Onyx в южнокорейских городах Сеул и Пусан, Samsung выбрал Таиланд как первый зарубежный рынок для реализации этого решения. 
С тех пор светодиодные экраны с идеальным отображением белого и чёрного, были установлены в 32-х кинотеатрах по всему миру - от США и Франции до Индии и Китая. 
В КНР сейчас работает самое большое число кинозалов Samsung Onyx (7), затем следует Индия (5), а Корея и Малайзия имеют по 3 таких кинозала.
До конца марта 2019 Samsung доведёт количество Onyx Cinema до 41.  

Samsung’s cinema LED solution Onyx makes inroads into 16 nations

Samsung Electronics’ projector-free cinema LED solution has made inroads into 16 countries since its debut two years ago, industry sources said on March 26. 
The South Korean tech giant showcased the Samsung Onyx Theater, an LED display brand designed exclusively for cinemas, at CinemaCon, the world’s biggest film industry fair, in Las Vegas in March 2017.
Samsung says theaters with the Onyx solutions provide extremely high contrast, vivid content and HDR images that can expand the boundaries of existing systems and add another level of immersive experience.
After introducing Onyx to theaters in Seoul and Busan, Samsung tapped Thailand as the first overseas market for the solution.
Since then, the cinema LED solution has been installed at 32 theaters in countries that include the United States, France and China. 
China has the most theaters with Samsung Onyx with seven, followed by India with five, and Korea and Malaysia with three each.

Скоро ещё одной страной на карте, где откроется самый передовой кинотеатр Samsung Onyx, станет больше. На этот раз повезло испанцам, которые смогут насладиться непревзойдённым качеством изображения в столичном мультиплексе Odeon Sambil. Торжественное открытие для широкой публики первого в Испании LED-кинозала должно состояться в Мадриде 22 марта, а пресс-показ состоялся уже 14 марта. 
Кинопрокатная компания Odeon Multicines, запустившая в эксплуатацию зал Samsung Onyx, славится тем, что первой в стране начинает использовать самые передовые решения в области кинопоказа. В кинотеатре Odeon Sambil дебютировали такие ныне известные аудиоформаты как Dolby Atmos и Christie Vive Audio, сопровождаемые изображением стандарта 4K. Фактически каждый зал  мультиплекса Odeon Sambil (он, кстати, считается одним из лучших в Европе) имеет VIP-статус, поскольку они оборудованы лучшими средствами кинопоказа и креслами с повышенным комфортом. С появлением зала Onyx статус кинотеатра поднимется ещё выше.
В отличие от традиционных проекционных установок, Samsung предлагает принципиально другое решение с помощью профессионального модульного LED-экрана с невероятными характеристиками, в несколько раз превышающими возможности самых продвинутых лазерных кинопроекторов.
Экран, получивший броское название Onyx, работает подобно самой совершенной на сегодняшний день технологии microLED. Это означает, что зрители увидят картинку, которую сложно отличить от той, что формирует человеческий глаз. Благодаря широкому цветовому охвату, поддержке системы цветояркостной коррекции HDR, отображению идеально чёрного и белого, экраны Samsung Onyx предоставляют возможность открыть мир кино совершенно по-новому, впервые за более чем 120 лет его существования.
В настоящее время Samsung предлагает заказчикам комплекты для оборудования кинозалов с шириной экрана 5, 10,2 и 14,5 метра. В первом случае поддерживается разрешение 2K, а в остальных 4K. Все экраны Samsung Onyx способны отображать контент как в 2D, так и в 3D-формате. При этом особо следует отметить невероятный эффект при просмотре на Onyx LED Cinema Screen 3D-блокбастеров, который не идёт ни в какое сравнение с тем, что было доступно раньше, при использовании ламповых или лазерных проекторов.
В отличие от обычных кинопроекционных систем, экраны Samsung Onyx способны работать без перерыва в течение 11 лет (в обычных условиях эксплуатации примерно 17 лет), причём без ухудшения качества картинки. Это в несколько раз превышает возможности даже самых дорогих лазерных проекционных установок, где наработка на отказ составляет не более 3-4 лет.
До конца марта 2019 по всему миру будут действовать более 40 залов, оснащённых новыми LED-экранами от Samsung. Помимо Швейцарии, Австрии, Германии, Франции и Испании, отдельные кинозалы и даже мультиплексы Onyx уже открыты в Южной Корее, Китае, США, Мексике, Бразилии, Колумбии, Индии, Таиланде, Малайзии и ряде других стран.

Samsung presents the first Onyx LED cinema in Spain

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and Odeon Multicines have presented the first cinema in Spain with LED technology, in Leganés, Madrid. Samsung's first Onyx model in Spain provides an immersive experience without precedent in the cinemas, responding to a demand from the public that wants to enjoy the film premieres with the highest possible quality and also, a new imperative in the industry of the commercial exhibition to offer new innovative screens and with the latest technology in image.
"The new Samsung Onyx screen is a momentous step in the industry in our country, as we mark the beginning of a new generation of screens for a demanding public in the quality of the content they enjoy when they go to the cinema", explained Sergio Foncillas , director of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. "We are very pleased to partner with Odeon Multicines to show a new standard of image quality in the large-screen industry, never before seen in Spain."

The LED screens of Samsung Onyx Cinema offer a level of contrast and black unprecedented in the film industry and with a brightness almost ten times higher than a traditional projection system, so it becomes the best option to enjoy a movie today. Onyx brings 4K LED image quality to the big screen, offering an immersive image that makes viewers live each scene as if they were in it.
On the other hand, Samsung Onyx offers all the versatility that today's cinemas demand, turning them into new cultural spaces that host other types of events such as live concert projections, e-Sports tournaments or commercial presentations. The screen always maintains its visual configuration, regardless of the content and accommodates a range of ambient light conditions without interruptions. In presentation, the preview of Vengaza Bajo Cero, the new movie starring actor Liam Neeson, was shown in EclairColor HDR format.   
The film is directed by the Norwegian Hans Petter Moland and also features the interpretations of the actresses Laura Dern and Emmy Rossum.
This thriller action with touches of black humor will premiere on May 10 in cinemas by the hand of A Contracorriente Films, and can be seen in its HDR version only in the Odeón Sambil cinemas.

На минувшей неделе подразделение Samsung Electronics America представило развёрнутый план дальнейшего продвижения своих фирменных решений Onyx для профессионального кино. Накануне открытия специализированного форума работников индустрии развлечений ShowEast, проходившего в Майами с 22 по 25 октября, транснациональный электронный гигант обнародовал программу глобального развития цифрового кинематографа в ближайшие годы.
В частности, было объявлено о запуске новой программы CSI Leasing для обслуживания действующих и будущих клиентов, а также объявлен список сертифицированных реселлеров кинотеатральных комплектов Samsung Onyx.
Большим подспорьем для владельцев кинотеатров с ограниченным бюджетом станет лизинговая программа предоставления оборудования нового поколения, которая позволит оплачивать услуги поставщика в рассрочку. В настоящее время многих владельцев кинозалов, желающих оснастить их новыми решениями Samsung Onyx, отпугивает высокая цена, которая превосходит стоимость комплектов с лазерными проекторами в 3-4 раза. Но с началом развёртывания лизинговой программы, таких сдерживающих факторов станет гораздо меньше.

Samsung Announces a New Leasing Program and Reseller List for Samsung Onyx at ShowEast 2018

Samsung Electronics America, Inc is announcing a brand-new CSI Leasing program to service existing and future Samsung customers as well as sharing the list of certified resellers for the Samsung Onyx at this year’s ShowEast taking place in Miami, Florida from October 22-25.
