Новый планшет Galaxy Tab S4 замечен в отчётах бенчмарка Geekbench

В базе данных Geekbench замечен новый гаджет Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 с маркировкой SM-T835. Несколько месяцев назад это устройство "засветилось" и на другом тестовом ресурсе AnTuTu.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 получил графический процессор Adreno 540 и чипсет Snapdragon 835. Объём оперативной памяти устройства составляет 4Гб, а внешнего накопителя – 64 Гб. Аппарат должен получить 10,5-дюймовый экран, а также камеры на 8 и 12 Мп. Почти наверняка должна появится версия с поддержкой LTE. В одноядерном тесте аппарат набрал 1.895 тысяч баллов, а в многоядерном – 6.362. В качестве операционной системы "из коробки" обозначена Android 8.0 Oreo. Эксперты прогнозируют цену на уровне 600 долларов США.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 name confirmed following Bluetooth certification

First spotted by Sammobile, a benchmark-spec listing surfaced for a device called the Samsung SM-T835 — which is most likely the Galaxy Tab S4. The latest report from the site confirms a Galaxy Tab S4 is in the works after the company received a Bluetooth certification. Under product name, the document specifically names the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 as the device that received the certification. Samsung earlier received certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance at the beginning of May.
Underneath the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset — which is currently the flagship chip. It’s also an upgrade from the Snapdragon 820 included in its predecessor. While it’s listed as having 3.1GB of RAM, it’s likely that it will actually be 4GB once the device is released. The currently rumored 52GB of storage will most likely be 64GB. As for the camera, it will come with a 7-megapixel front-facing camera and a 12-megapixel rear camera.
As for its operating system, the tablet will reportedly run Android 8.0 Oreo — Android’s latest OS. But the potential release of the tablet comes only one month before the official release Google’s Android P operating system in August.
In terms of additional specs, there’s still no word on what we can expect when it comes to weight, battery, or size of the tablet.
Currently, there aren’t many details on the exact look of the Galaxy Tab S4. It reportedly will have a 10.5-inch display, which is larger than the 9.7-inch screen on the Galaxy Tab S3. Its predecessor also included a Super AMOLED screen, but it’s unclear whether the new device will have the same feature.
But we do have some insight on the display, which is claimed to boast a 2560 x 1600-pixel resolution. In comparison, the Tab S3 screen offers 2,048 x 1,536-pixel resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 tablet is expected to launch in July of this year. But it’s possible it could also launch as early as next month, especially after having already received its Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth certifications.
There isn’t a price yet listed for the Galaxy S4 tablet. The Galaxy Tab S3 was listed at $600 at launch, so we expect the S4 will most likely be priced within the same range.

Согласно результатам исследования компании AnTuTu, которое было направлено на выявление того, какие смартфоны в прошлом году чаще всего клонировали различные китайские производители, Samsung оказался абсолютным лидером.
По оценке экспертов AnTuTu, более 2,6% всех новых смартфонов, попавших на рынок в 2017 году, являлись китайскими клонами известных моделей. Среди этих клонов более трети (36,23%) копируют устройства южнокорейского техногиганта.
Самой популярной моделью у пиратов оказалась Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Europe Edition. Китайская версия Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge заняла 2-е место. Следом идут Galaxy S7 и Galaxy W2016. В десятку лидеров также попали Galaxy W2017, ещё одна версия Galaxy S7 Edge и Galaxy S8+.
Apple с большим отставанием заняла вторую позицию с результатом 7,72%.
Следом идут Xiaomi, Oppo и Huawei, результаты которых составили 4,75%, 4,66% и 3,4% соответственно.

AnTuTu’s Special Report: Samsung Was The Most Cloned Smartphone Brand in 2017

Most people have had the experience or heard the story from someone who has fallen victim to sellers of cloned smartphones. They are almost in all major cities, on the busy street corner where they offer buyers the latest iPhone or Samsung at rock bottom prices. This offer sweeps some out of their feet and before they realize the phone isn’t real, the seller is gone. Well, AnTuTu has released as part of their annual smartphone data, a list of the top most cloned smartphones.
The data was for 2017 and it contains among other things, a distribution chart of cloned smartphones according to the affected brand. AnTuTu claims that an estimated 17,424,726 mobile phones were shipped in 2017 and out that tall figure, cloned smartphone accounted for 2.64%. Of course, who would want to clone a relatively unknown brand? So, it is no surprise that Samsung emerged as the most clone brand last year with a cumulative total of 36.23%. Apart from being the world’s top smartphone maker, Samsung also happened to have released a couple of stunning models last year. But the most cloned model last year is revealed as the Galaxy S7 Edge Europe edition. The China version of the Galaxy S7 Edge emerges as the second most cloned phone. Other Samsung models that were cloned last year include the Galaxy W2016, Galaxy W2017, Galaxy S8+.
Apple is also another brand that suffers from cloning, especially in markets like China. Apple ranked second with 7.72% and quite interesting is the discovery that most of the iPhone clones are usually equipped with Android OS. The iPhone 7 Plus is the most faked iPhone last year, ranking among the top 10 most faked smartphones of 2017 as compiled by AnTuTu.
Chinese tech giant Xiaomi also ranked as the third most cloned smartphone brand with 4.75%. This is closely followed by OPPO with 4.46% and Huawei with 3.40%.
