Samsung официально представил первый в мире ультратонкий ноутбук с процессом Intel Lakefield








Около года назад Samsung объявил о запуске в производство портативного компьютера серии Galaxy Book S с процессором Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx, а теперь сообщил о появлении его модификации с другой платформой — Intel Lakefield.
Это первый в мире ноутбук с гибридным процессором Intel Lakefield (Intel Hybrid Technology). Несмотря на высокую производительность, активное охлаждение устройству не требуется: тепло отводит трубка и металлический корпус. В результате обеспечена абсолютно бесшумная работа устройства.
Кроме того, ноутбук получил 13,3-дюймовый сенсорный дисплей с разрешением Full HD (1920×1080 пикселей), 8Гб ОЗУ LPDDR4x, 256 или 512Гб (в зависимости от конфигурации) хранилища eUFS, сканер отпечатков пальцев, 1 Мп камеру, аудиосистему AKG с 4-мя динамиками, датчик освещённости, клавиатуру с подсветкой, Wi-Fi 6 и Bluetooth 5.0.
За автономность отвечает аккумулятор ёмкостью 42 Вт·ч. Операционная система — Windows 10 (Home или Pro). Из разъёмов имеется 2 порта USB Type-C, 3,5-мм для наушников и слот для карты памяти microSD объёмом до 1Тб.
В официальном пресс-релизе отмечается, что этот высокопроизводительный ноутбук (для своего класса) получил тонкий и лёгкий корпус. Его габариты: 305,2×203,2×6,2–11,8 мм, вес — 950 г. На выбор предлагаются расцветки Earthy Gold и Mercury Gray.
Как уже давно повелось, Samsung предлагает свои компьютеры на ограниченном числе рынков во избежание конкуренции с крупными заказчиками его электронных компонентов для PC. Обычно свои фирменные PC южнокорейский техногигант продаёт у себя на родине, а также в США, Китае, Бразилии, Сингапуре и в некоторых странах Западной Европы.  
Цена Galaxy Book S пока неизвестна, хотя нетрудно предположить, что она вряд ли будет доступной для большинства покупателей.
