TIZEN-часы Samsung Galaxy Watch LTE получили обновление, увеличивающее срок работы девайса на одном заряде

Samsung регулярно выпускает обновления ПО для своих носимых гаджетов, работающих на операционной системе TIZEN. На днях владельцы новейшей модели  Galaxy Watch LTE (они используют версию 4.0.0.1), которые обслуживаются оператором Telstra в Австралии и Новой Зеландии, получили оповещение о наличии очередной прошивки под номером R805FXXU1CRKA. Объём файла составляет 38,63 Мб.
В сопроводительном пояснении говорится, что обновление содержит исправления ошибок и улучшения, касающиеся взаимодействия устройства с пользователем.
Кроме того, повышена эффективность использования заряда аккумуляторной батареи, что скажется на времени автономной работы смарт-часов. Также улучшено качество работы с GPS, добавлен новый штатный циферблат и внесены некоторые изменения в рабочее меню.
Поскольку новая прошивка стала доступна в крупном англоязычном регионе мира, следует ожидать её дальнейшего распространения в ближайшее время.
Правда, для жителей России новость про обновление LTE-версии неактуальна, поскольку использовать её здесь не имеет смысла ввиду государственного запрета на e-SIM (встроенные электронные SIM-карты, позволяющие самостоятельно менять оператора и привязку к номеру мобильного телефона без похода в салон связи). Все разговоры о скором снятии запрета на устройства с e-SIM в РФ оказались несостоятельными. Наоборот, тиски ценуры в Сети сжимаются всё сильнее и спецслужбы продолжают усиленно "завинчивать гайки", принуждая всё болшее количество операторов устанавливать шпионское оборудование за счёт клиентов (то есть тех самых объектов прослушки). С Нового года практически все ведущие игроки российского интернет-рынка поднимут цены на свои услуги.

Samsung is releasing the next software update for TIZEN-powered Galaxy Watch LTE

Samsung rolled out new software update for its premium Samsung Galaxy Watch LTE version, that fixes some issues and brings many improvements. This update which can be mainly termed as a bug fix download, intends to address some issues which are faced by smartwatch users. The latest update version R805FXXU1CRKA has been currently introduced for Telstra carrier in Australia and New Zealand. All the users in the region will be benefited with this update as it has improvements in battery life, which was the biggest issue for many users.
The LTE version of the smartwatch enables you to experience enhanced connectivity, as you can reduce the burden of carrying your smartphone with you for running etc. Latest update brings improvement in GPS accuracy and connection of the smartwatch. Other improvements included in the update are run track and Samsung Health, that will enable you to track your activities with high accuracy. This update added the excellent Dual Clock watch face and removed menu, use gear without smartphone connection. It has the size of 38.63MB and accommodates TIZEN 4.0.0.1 platform along with it.

Though the latest update for the Galaxy watch LTE version is available only in Telstra carrier in Australia and New Zealand, it is expected to be rolled out globally very soon. In order to get this update on your smartphone or you can manually check it. For this purpose, go to the Setting then select About Watch, now go to the Update Watch Software and select Update Now option to get the update installed in your smartwatch.

Samsung выпустил второе обновление для своих новых смарт-часов Galaxy Watch. Прошивка TIZEN 4.0.0.1 позволяет повысить эффективность аккумулятора и общую стабильность работы.
Размер обновления составляет 28,2Мб. В сопроводительном тексте говорится, что ПО повышает стабильность работы сервиса Google Play Music, а также улучшает работу зарядки, которая и без того работала без особых нареканий.
Кроме того, обновление повышает удобство использования и общие впечатления от использования девайса, как говорится в описании изменений. Обновление доступно для всех модификаций (42- и 46-мм, включая LTE-версии).
Поначалу апдейт будет распространяться в США, а позже его получат владельцы  Galaxy Watch в других регионах мира.  
В России цена этой новинки составляет около 22.000 рублей.

The update for the Galaxy Watch is certainly a minor one, but one that owners will nonetheless appreciate.
Reported by SamMobile, the update weighs in at a little over 28MB and improves the reliability of battery charging and music playback. We have not seen any major battery charging or heating issues with the Galaxy Watch, so the update looks to mitigate that just in case something pops up.
The update also includes improvements to the overall usability and experience, but does not detail what those improvements look like. This is not a feature-packed update, as you can probably surmise by now. Even so, the improvements tidy up what was already a feature-packed experience.
Finally, the update bumps up the TIZEN OS version to 4.0.0.1 and is available for the 42mm and 46mm Galaxy Watch variants. Those in the U.S. can download the update through the Galaxy Wearable app, though folks in other regions will have to wait a bit longer for the update.
