Samsung Pay).

Samsung Pay mobile service will expand its market presence in 2020

In 2019, the most advanced mobile payment system from Samsung expanded the geography of its presence only at the expense of Indonesia. As the corporation explained, this year the main focus was on strengthening Samsung Pay's position in those countries where it already exists. According to the latest data, their number is 28. These are countries such as the USA, China, South Korea, Australia, Russia, Brazil, India, Canada, Singapore, France, Great Britain, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and several others.
Among the likely candidates for the launch of Samsung Pay in the next 12 months, Germany and Poland are considered.
Recall that Samsung Pay has a number of advantages compared to competing payment systems such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Many Samsung's smartphones and some smartwatches are capable of working with almost any payment terminal, including old magnetic stripe card devices. This was made possible thanks to the use of the combined MST / NFC module, which is able to simulate the operation of an old payment card. Thus, the owners of these devices can use the contactless payment method, even in the most remote areas from modern civilization (of course, in countries where there is support for Samsung Pay).
In addition, since the launch of Samsung Pay in 2015, the South Korean techgiant has significantly expanded the number of services provided to its customers, for example, currency transfers to 47 countries of the world (availability of such options varies by country).
On the European continent, Samsung Pay has perhaps most actively developed in Russia, where many banks and government organizations support this service. Owners of mobile wallets from Samsung have access to various bonus programs, which saves significant money.
