Бразильский ресурс tecnoblog.net недавно опубликовал материал, касающийся перспектив развития телевизионного бизнеса Samsung. На вопросы корреспондента этого издания ответил руководитель отдела глобального маркетинга южнокорейского техногиганта Сонг Чо (Seong Cho).
Господин Чо дал ясно понять, что Samsung делает ставку на многообещающую дисплейную технологию MicroLED, которая обеспечивает самое качественное изображение, а также на формат сверхвысокого разрешения 8K, который уже в ближайшие годы сделает актуальный ныне 4K архаикой вчерашнего дня.
Что касается операционной платформы, то Samsung сделал однозначную ставку на дальнейшее развитие собственной экосистемы на базе TIZEN и, по словам Сонг Чо, не собирается использовать какие-либо другие программные продукты.
Настойчивые попытки корреспондента tecnoblog.net выяснить, может ли Android TV появиться хотя бы на бюджетных моделях Samsung, были пресечены топ-менеджером корейской корпорации. Господин Чо отметил, что TIZEN - это отличная платформа и даже не упомянул Android в течение всей дальнейшей беседы.
В самом деле, какой смысл распылять силы программистов на развитие конкурента, если в вашем распоряжении имеется продукт N1 на рынке смарт-телевизоров?
