В Samsung подробно рассказали о новациях в юбилейных флагманах Galaxy S10






















Недавней презентацией новых моделей Galaxy S10 в Сан-Франциско Samsung не только завершил декаду прорывных инноваций Galaxy и открыл новую главу в истории мобильной индустрии, вендор в очередной раз подтвердил свои лидерские позиции в определении будущего мобильных технологий.
На днях официальный информационный портал Samsung опубликовал подробное описание инновациий, которыми наделены юбилейные флагманы. 

Безупречный экран

Galaxy S10 оснащён новым дисплеем Infinity-O с соотношением сторон 19:9, который максимально увеличивает размер рабочей площади экрана. При 123 градусах новый 16-мегапиксельный сверхширокоугольный объектив задней камеры имеет поле зрения как у человеческого глаза. Он охватывает примерно в 4,3 раза большую площадь[3], чем широкоугольный объектив с углом обзора 77 градусов. Технология динамического отображения тонов обеспечивает в 2,1 раза более широкий цветовой диапазон, чем SDR, и оптимизирует цвета для каждой сцены.
Модель Galaxy S10 5G объединяет в себе возможности камеры профессионального уровня, предлагая в общей сложности 6 объективов – 2 спереди и 4 сзади. В дополнение к объективам, представленным в Galaxy S10+, модель 5G оснащена линзой глубины 3D (3D-Depth) нового поколения. Она точно фиксирует глубину, измеряя время, необходимое для отражения инфракрасного светового сигнала, исходящего от объекта съёмки. Cinema Screen

The Galaxy S10’s new Dynamic AMOLED display fosters truly cinematic viewing experiences. Featuring a peak luminance of 1200 nits, the display is capable of producing over 16 million colors (36 percent better color range than SDR), with 100 percent mobile color volume in the DCI-P3 color range.
When tested by the experts at DisplayMate, the Dynamic AMOLED display received a 0.4 Just Noticeable Color Difference (JNCD) score. An improvement on the Galaxy S9’s 0.7 JNCD rating, this score confirms the Galaxy S10’s exceptionally accurate color reproduction. The company’s latest groundbreaking display is also the first smartphone display in the world to support HDR10+: a next-generation open standard for high dynamic range (HDR) video. Beefed-Up Biometric Security

Embedded beneath the Dynamic AMOLED display is Samsung’s new, in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner,4 which offers vault-like security to keep your device safe.
The scanner works by emitting ultrasonic waves that map the unique pattern of your fingerprint by sensing the tiny air gaps between your finger and the screen. That wave data is then sent back to the scanner and analyzed by the phone’s main chipset in order to determine whether it’s a match.
It works in the blink of an eye, and features 3D anti-spoofing technology that applies a machine learning-based algorithm to the on-screen fingerprint to offer a high level of security. This ensures that your phone will only open once it’s registered your physical fingerprint, and not an image of it. Its security is backed by the world’s first FIDO Alliance Biometric Component certification, and it’s been tested to work in the most challenging of conditions, including in sub-zero temperatures and under bright sunlight.

Utilizing a database of over 100 million pictures, Shot Suggestion’s composition guide offers helpful tips to help you improve your photo’s proportions, positioning and overall composition.
The camera’s upgraded Live Focus mode allows you to customize your photos with artistic effects. The smartphones’ support for Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 enables them to charge up to 33 percent2 faster than the Galaxy S9 when using Samsung’s new Wireless Charging Duo Pad, which also features a Turbo Cooling Fan that reduces heat for faster, safer charging. The Galaxy S10’s support for this technology allows it to spend less time on charging docks and more time in your hands, ready to streamline your day.

Personalized Performance

Because each of us utilizes our smartphone differently, the Galaxy S10 features advanced, AI-powered software that optimizes performance based on users’ unique usage patterns.
The smartphones’ Intelligent Performance Enhancer automatically adjusts settings for the battery, CPU, RAM, and even the temperature of your device to ensure stable, snappy performance. So frequently used apps launch faster, games run smoother, and your phone works harder when you need it the most. And because the technology constantly learns and adjusts based on your personal habits, it becomes more tailored and useful the more you use your phone.
The devices also feature an Adaptive Power Saving mode, which optimizes battery performance based on app use. This innovative technology categorizes apps into five groups based on how often they’re used, and regulates power usage to help you get the most out of your phone’s battery.

Support for Smarter Wi-Fi

The Galaxy S10 also introduces a dynamic duo of technologies designed to bring an end to the days of spotty Wi-Fi connections.
The first, Intelligent Wi-Fi, allows the devices to seamlessly switch between Wi-Fi and LTE networks in order to foster safe and uninterrupted connections. It uses machine learning to recognize when you’re in an enclosed location where the Wi-Fi might be unreliable, such as an elevator, and it can tell when you’re on the move, like when you’re in a car or walking down the street. As soon as your Galaxy S10 registers changes like these, it will quickly and seamlessly switch to an LTE network connection, so you don’t miss a beat. In fact, it switches from Wi-Fi to data more than twice as fast as before.
Intelligent Wi-Fi can also help users steer clear of Wi-Fi networks that may put them at risk for phishing and malware attacks. The technology protects your phone against potentially malicious IP connections in advance, and will warn you before you’re able to connect. Should your phone encounter a risky Wi-Fi connection, it will alert you with a pop-up asking whether you’d still like to connect.
The Galaxy S10 devices are also the first phones to boast support for the next generation of Wi-Fi technology: Wi-Fi 6.3 Up to 20 percent faster than the previous Wi-Fi standard, Wi-Fi 6 takes downloading and uploading content to the next level. The smartphones’ support for the technology opens the door for much faster downloads – enabling users to download multi-gigabit movie files in mere seconds.
In crowded areas, such as airports and concert venues, Wi-Fi 6 allows users to enjoy four times faster network connections than other users in the same location. And perhaps best of all, because it consumes less battery than other Wi-Fi standards, it enables your phone to save power for when you need it most.

The Power to Do More

We’ve only just scratched the surface of the Galaxy S10’s performance upgrades – and there’s plenty to be excited about.
In addition to allowing users to seamlessly switch between Wi-Fi and LTE connections, the Galaxy S10 offers the fastest LTE speeds available. The devices are the first in the world to support download speeds of up to 2.0Gbps – an improvement of 0.8Gbps when compared to the Galaxy S9 – which means users can stream and connect faster than ever before. The Galaxy S10+ is also available with 12GB of RAM5 – a first for the Galaxy series – which enables users to experience truly flawless multitasking.
Lastly, the Galaxy S10 line introduces the highest storage capacity ever available on a Galaxy device. The Galaxy S10+ is available with a whopping 1TB6 of built-in storage, and offers users the ability to add an additional 512GB of memory via microSD card,7 for a total of 1.5TB of storage space! We all have our routines that help us manage our day, and time is, of course, precious. That’s why Samsung developed Bixby Routines – a clever feature that allows Bixby to learn your unique routines and recommend ways to save more time.
Bixby Routines utilizes machine learning to analyze your personal patterns and preferences based on how you use your phone. It uses that insight to suggest easily configurable routines – incorporating specific native apps, settings or features – that can instantly automate multiple tasks to make your life easier.
In addition to offering nine convenient preset options, Bixby Routines presents you with up to six personalized routines – based on how you use your phone at certain times and places – that minimize the steps required to get things done. For example, when you go to bed, your Galaxy S10 may run your personal “Before Bed” routine, which may include automatically turning on Night Mode, lowering the brightness, and muting sound. It’s as simple – and convenient – as that.

Instant Insight with Bixby Vision

Featuring a built-in AI that provides better image recognition and is capable of recognizing a wide range of objects, the camera’s enhanced Bixby Vision function places all-new AR capabilities at users’ fingertips.
Bixby Vision’s expanded Lens Mode features a variety of image-recognition options, including a new Wish List option. When you see a product you’re interested in buying, Wish List makes it easy to save it for later reference.1
The new Apps Mode offers users more convenient ways to utilize AR in their everyday lives. Use it to, for instance, virtually try on a new pair of sunglasses or some new makeup, or see how your hair would look dyed, or how your living space would look if you added an appliance or piece of furniture that you’re interested in buying.2
Apps Mode also makes it easy to learn more about movies you’re interested in through its new Picture Play3 feature. When you see a poster for an upcoming release, simply show it to Bixby and it’ll instantly play the trailer.

Hands-Free Convenience

Galaxy device users are used to asking Bixby to help them search the web, make a reservation, or launch an app when their hands are full. Now, Bixby’s new Voice Unlock4 feature allows you to activate and interact with Bixby when your phone is locked for an even more comfortable user experience.
Bixby Voice Unlock creates a convenient way to utilize Bixby when your phone is out of reach. Say you’re in the middle of making dinner and you need to double check exactly how much of a particular ingredient the recipe calls for. With Bixby Voice Unlock, rather than smudging up your screen with sauce and bits of food, you can simply say “Hi Bixby” to unlock your phone, and then ask Bixby to pull up the recipe for you.

Make Bixby Your Own

To offer users more freedom to utilize Bixby’s handy button, the Galaxy S10 introduces Bixby Key Customization.5 Now, you can customize the button to launch Bixby with either a single or double press, and map the other option to launch your favorite app or Quick command. It’s just another convenient way to make Bixby your own.
Speaking of Quick commands, Bixby’s update also makes it easy to share customized Quick commands with your friends.
Quick commands make using Bixby even more convenient by allowing you to replace one or more commands with a simple word or phrase. The opportunities for personalization are endless, and your Quick commands can also be saved as shortcut icons on your phone’s home screen for easy access.6 This is especially useful in situations when you’d rather not speak out loud. So for example, when you’re heading into a theater, if you tap the icon for your “Movie Time” Quick command, Bixby will instantly switch your phone to silent mode, turn on “Do not disturb,” reduce brightness completely, and turn off the screen so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the film without interruptions.
And now, with the Galaxy S10, if you’ve crafted the perfect Quick command and you want to send it to someone else, you can simply tap “share” to instantly send it as a link via text message or messaging app.7
