Теперь владельцы моделей Galaxy A51 и A71 получили доступ к одному из самых популярных флагманских режимов – «Мультикадр».

Music Share дает возможность друзьям подключиться к Bluetooth-динамикам пользователя непосредственно через его смартфон, для этого нужно вызвать панель быстрых настроек и нажать значок Music Share. Либо можно перейти в раздел Настройки > Подключения > Bluetooth > Дополнительно, чтобы включить или отключить общий доступ к музыке.

Улучшенная клавиатура и галерея

Для еще более удобного ежедневного взаимодействия со смартфоном функциональность клавиатуры и галереи также была расширена.
Свайп вверх с главного экрана вызывает меню приложений. Еще до того, как пользователь закончит формировать запрос в поисковой строке, предиктивный алгоритм предложит подходящие варианты, в том числе приложения, контакты и настройки. Samsung has released a new software update bringing a range of leading Galaxy S20 features to the Galaxy A series. Galaxy A51 and A71 device users will now be able to harness some of the Galaxy S20 series’ powerful innovations, designed to make the way we capture, connect and share more dynamic than ever before.

Change the Way You Capture

The Galaxy S20 has a camera packed with innovative features for a more professional shooting experience. Galaxy A51 and A71 users can now capture their memories exactly as they happen with such leading S20 features as Single Take.
Single Take takes the burden of choosing a camera mode out of your hands by recording with several camera modes simultaneously. Just by tapping record with the Single Take feature, users can capture up to ten seconds of footage with a wide range of capture modes, including Live Focus, Smart Crop, video and AI filter. Users can then revisit the clips in the Gallery app and choose which capture style they like the best.
Galaxy A51 and A71 users can now also enjoy several Pro Mode functionalities from the Galaxy S20, including Manual Focus and Shutter Speed control. These features give users more control when capturing photos and videos so they can have total command over their shooting experiences.
Users can get creative when capturing after sunset with Night Hyperlapse, and enjoy more personalization with features like My Filters, which lets users create their own personal image filters using existing images in their camera roll.

Share Seamlessly

The software update brings with it two convenient ways – available originally on the Galaxy S20 series – for users to share media with each other. Quick Share and Music Share make it easier than ever before to stay connected and instantaneously share pictures, videos and music.
When viewing media in the Gallery and looking to share it with friends, users can now harness the Quick Share option to see immediately which users are nearby. Just by tapping the icon, users can then select one or more friends to seamlessly share their media with.
Music Share lets friends connect to a user’s Bluetooth speaker directly via the user’s smartphone. By swiping down on the Quick Panel and tapping on the Music Share icon, users can easily activate or deactivate this innovative feature to instantly enjoy good music with their friends. Users can also head to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Advanced to toggle Music Share on or off.

Let Your Device Do the Work

Galaxy A51 and A71 users are already able to do more of what they love with their smartphones, but this update brings even more Keyboard and Gallery functionalities to users that are designed to make their day-to-day interactions with their smartphones as convenient as possible.
When typing in the search bar in the app tray, accessible with just a simple swipe up on the home screen, users will now be presented with a range of predicted Apps, Settings, Quick Panel and Contacts search results before they even finish typing their query, and can then explore even more results by hitting the ‘See more results’ button. Enhanced keyboard functionalities also give users more freedom when typing; users can now translate text directly from the keyboard tray and easily undo and redo their most recent keyboard action with an intuitive swipe left or right with two fingers on the keyboard.
With the Clean View feature, the Gallery will group up to 100 images shot consecutively into one bundle for easy viewing – users can choose their favorite to serve as the group’s thumbnail – and an organized Gallery. Quick Crop lets users trim their photos right from the media viewing screen. When zooming in on an image with two fingers, the icon will appear on the left hand side of the screen for users to instantly save the edited picture to their Gallery.

Updates such as these, bringing flagship features to Galaxy A devices, are part of Samsung’s ongoing efforts to provide all users with the the best smartphone experiences. Samsung Galaxy S10 5G’s Rear and Selfie Cameras Score First Place in DxOMark Ranking, the First Smartphone to Hit 100 Bar in Video

Samsung Electronics today announced that the Galaxy S10 5G has received the number one spots in DxOMark’s camera rankings for both its rear and front-facing cameras. DxOMark is the trusted independent testing standard for mobile camera image quality. Using rigorous testing protocols, DxOMark provides consumers with an impartial and reliable rating for smartphone camera performance and quality.
The Galaxy S10 5G’s rear camera photo and video capabilities were both ranked number one on the DxOMark Mobile scale, achieving an overall score of 112, with 117 in photo and 100 in video, the first device to hit 100 bar. DxOMark’s testing recognizes that the Galaxy S10 5G’s rear camera features fast and accurate autofocus, capturing photos that have a good level of detail preservation, color rendering and exposure under various conditions.
The Galaxy S10 5G also scored first place on the DxOMark Selfie ranking for its front camera with an overall score of 97, receiving a score of 101 in the photo category, and 90 in the video category. To evaluate the Galaxy S10 5G’s camera performance, DxOMark tested Exposure and Contrast, Color, Autofocus, Texture, Noise, Flash, Artifacts, Zoom and Bokeh under low light, indoor and bright light conditions.
The Galaxy S10 5G features a professional-grade camera set-up with a total of six cameras – two on the front and four on the back. How Samsung Developed the Galaxy S10’s Share-Friendly, AI-Powered Camera

In the era of social media, in which sharing photos and videos has nearly replaced texting and talking, the smartphone camera has emerged as one of the most important features for smartphone users.1
For the Galaxy S10 line, Samsung brought new, advanced hardware and software-based technologies to the camera, including cutting-edge, AI-powered features. In order to learn more about the phones’ pro-grade camera system – which features an Ultra Wide lens, Super Steady video recording, and a built-in Neural Processing Unit (NPU) – Samsung Newsroom sat down with Samsung Electronics’ Mobile Communications Division’s camera developers and product planner.

The Power of the Ultra Wide Lens

The secret to taking incredible photos with the Galaxy S10 line is the Ultra Wide lens. The addition of the Ultra Wide lens was a major moment for Samsung, and represents one of the biggest changes to the Galaxy series in generations. Now, users can capture every detail of an epic landscape, or fit the entire family into one group shot without having to move back.
“Users expect more than just improved image quality with a new device. They want a camera that makes it easier to take amazing photos,” explained product planner Sunyong Kim. “The Ultra Wide lens features a 123-degree field of view, just like the human eye, so you can easily capture the moment just as you see it.”
With the Ultra Wide lens, users can easily take dynamic pictures using the camera’s Live Focus function and Panorama mode. “Live Focus has been available on previous Samsung devices with the Telephoto and Wide-angle lenses, but for the Galaxy S10 line, we brought it to the Ultra Wide lens as well,” noted Sugon Baek. “What’s more, Panorama mode offers more vertical scope than previous models did, and greatly reduces the need to move the camera from left to right in order to capture the full shot.”

Shake-Free Video Quality

Another new innovation that’s built into the Galaxy S10 line is the camera’s Super Steady video-recording feature, which offers users enhanced video stabilization.2
Super Steady works by using VDIS (Video Digital Image Stabilization) technology. It predicts user movements before filming starts, and once the camera is running, it calculates the adjustment range to minimize shakiness in videos.
“In the past, achieving optimum video stabilization meant sacrifices for the camera’s angle of view,” noted Wonseok Song. “A conventional wide-angle camera couldn’t solve the problem. But thanks to the Ultra Wide lens, the S10 is able to support a natural viewing angle while also offering stability and quality.”
Given that the adjustment capability of the Super Steady technology is best for capturing bigger movements, Song has a tip for users filming in different conditions: “For scenes that feature less action in low light, use the camera’s normal mode. For brighter scenes that feature more movement, Super Steady is best.”

A Camera That’s Smart

The Galaxy S10 doesn’t just have the most advanced camera system on a Galaxy phone, it also has the smartest. In a first for Galaxy smartphones, the Galaxy S10 includes a next-generation NPU that automatically optimizes pictures in up to 30 different categories.
“We added 10 additional categories to optimize common photos, including ‘Dog,’ ‘Drink,’ and ‘Shoe,’” explained Seoyoung Lee. ‘Dog’ mode, she added, optimizes users’ pictures by focusing on fine details, such as strands of fur, whereas categories like ‘Shoe’ and ‘Clothing’ focus on objects’ colors, since most pictures of these objects are taken without people’s faces in the frame. “We also added ‘Drink’ category because we noticed the growing trend of people sharing pictures of their cocktails on social media.”
The Galaxy S10 line’s camera also provides suggestions of ways to potentially improve photos through its Shot Suggestion function. Based on the Galaxy S10 line’s machine learning capabilities, Shot Suggestion references a database of over 100 million users’ pictures to offer helpful tips on improving overall composition, positioning and proportions for photos of various subjects, including people, animals and vehicles. “The AI-based suggestions have been developed not just to prioritize putting the subject at the center of a photo,” said Lee. “That way, no matter how you want to set up your shot, the Galaxy S10 will help you do it in the most striking way possible.”

Seeing the Whole Picture

In developing the Galaxy S10 line’s camera, the team focused on engineering technologies that add real value to the camera experience, rather than simply increasing the number of lenses and features available.
“The camera is for more than documenting and recording,” explained Kim. “It is now the means through which we communicate.”
From the Ultra Wide lens, to Super Steady, to the NPU – and to other features, like Instagram mode, new filters, enhanced Bixby Vision, and easy shifting between lenses – the Galaxy S10 helps users do more with their camera than they ever could before. For all of those users who say a great camera is the top feature they’re looking for in a smartphone, Samsung has planted the flag.

An improvement on the Galaxy S9’s 0.7 JNCD rating, this score confirms the Galaxy S10’s exceptionally accurate color reproduction. The company’s latest groundbreaking display is also the first smartphone display in the world to support HDR10+: a next-generation open standard for high dynamic range (HDR) video. Beefed-Up Biometric Security

Embedded beneath the Dynamic AMOLED display is Samsung’s new, in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner,4 which offers vault-like security to keep your device safe.
The scanner works by emitting ultrasonic waves that map the unique pattern of your fingerprint by sensing the tiny air gaps between your finger and the screen. That wave data is then sent back to the scanner and analyzed by the phone’s main chipset in order to determine whether it’s a match.
It works in the blink of an eye, and features 3D anti-spoofing technology that applies a machine learning-based algorithm to the on-screen fingerprint to offer a high level of security. This ensures that your phone will only open once it’s registered your physical fingerprint, and not an image of it. Say you’re in the middle of making dinner and you need to double check exactly how much of a particular ingredient the recipe calls for. With Bixby Voice Unlock, rather than smudging up your screen with sauce and bits of food, you can simply say “Hi Bixby” to unlock your phone, and then ask Bixby to pull up the recipe for you.

Make Bixby Your Own

To offer users more freedom to utilize Bixby’s handy button, the Galaxy S10 introduces Bixby Key Customization.5 Now, you can customize the button to launch Bixby with either a single or double press, and map the other option to launch your favorite app or Quick command. It’s just another convenient way to make Bixby your own.
Speaking of Quick commands, Bixby’s update also makes it easy to share customized Quick commands with your friends.
Quick commands make using Bixby even more convenient by allowing you to replace one or more commands with a simple word or phrase. The opportunities for personalization are endless, and your Quick commands can also be saved as shortcut icons on your phone’s home screen for easy access.6 This is especially useful in situations when you’d rather not speak out loud. So for example, when you’re heading into a theater, if you tap the icon for your “Movie Time” Quick command, Bixby will instantly switch your phone to silent mode, turn on “Do not disturb,” reduce brightness completely, and turn off the screen so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the film without interruptions.
And now, with the Galaxy S10, if you’ve crafted the perfect Quick command and you want to send it to someone else, you can simply tap “share” to instantly send it as a link via text message or messaging app.7

Сегодня подразделение Samsung Mobile India представило очередную модель смартфона из весьма интересной серии Galaxy M. Этот аппарат должен стать прямым конкурентом Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, который за 210 американских долларов (13.800 рублей по сегодняшнему курсу) предлагает 8-ядерный процессор Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, 6,3-дюймовый ЖК-дисплей с разрешением Full HD+ аккумулятор на 4.000мАч с быстрой зарядкой, коннект USB-C и вход для проводных наушников.
Основная камера Redmi Note 7 - двойная, с 48-Мп матрицей (F/1,8) и вспомогательным 5-Мп датчиком замера глубины сцены. Фронтальная камера имеет разрешение 13Мп. Однако цифра 48 в спецификациях основной камеры Redmi - это обманный маркетинговый ход, поскольку реальное разрешение в 3 раза ниже, а "рекордная" цифра достигается за счёт масштабирования (в реальных условиях съёмки каждый блок из 3-х "маленьких" пикселей работает как 1 "большой" пиксель). Стоит отметить, что эти характеристики актуальны лишь для версии, продающейся в Китае. Международная версия будет куда слабее (меньший объём ОЗУи флэш-памяти, а камеры в ней худшего качества).
В ответ китайцам Samsung Galaxy M30 предлагает пользователям 6,4-дюймовый Super AMOLED-дисплей серии Infinity U с разрешением Full HD+, новый фирменный 8-ядерный процессор Exynos 7904, 16-мегапиксельную сэлфи-камеру (F2.0), тройную основную камеру 13Мп (F1.9) + 5MP (Live Focus) + 5Мп (Ultra-wide lens), аккумулятор ёмкостью 5.000мАч с системой быстрой зарядки, разъём Type-C, сканер отпечаткв пальцев на тыльной стороне и систему разблокировки по лицу владельца Face Unlock. Имеется вход для проводных наушников, FM-радио, поддержка аудиостандарта Dolby Atmos. 
Galaxy M30 будет предлагаться в 2-х версиях с разным объёмом ОЗУ и встроенной флэш-памяти. Младшая модификация комплектуется 4Гб оперативной памяти и 64Гб постоянной, а старшая может похвастаться наличием 6Гб ОЗУ и 128Гб флэш-памяти. В обоих случаях объём накопителя можно расширить сменными картами памяти microSD ёмкостью до 512Гб.
Ориентировочная цена на младшую версию Galaxy M30 заявлена на уровне 210 долларов, а на старшую - $250.
После запуска на индийский рынок ожидается, что Samsung Galaxy M30 появится также в России и ряде других стран.

Samsung India announced the launch of Galaxy M30, the latest addition to its Galaxy M line of smartphones that made their global debut in India last month. Galaxy M30, designed for tech savvy millennials, is power-packed with triple rear camera, super AMOLED infinity U display and a 5,000 mAh fast charge battery. The launch of Galaxy M30 comes on the back of an unprecedented consumer response to recently-launched Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10.
