Visualize Your New Room

Samsung’s AR service, Bixby Vision*, acts as a visual guide, allowing you to see more with your smartphone camera. The home décor function of the Galaxy S10’s Bixby Vision can show you how your home might look with new home appliances and furniture, virtually positioning them wherever you wish to see them. To enable the function, simply open up Bixby Vision, select the home décor function from the apps menu and point your camera to the area where you want to place home appliances or furniture. After choosing an appliance or piece of furniture, the object will appear wherever you tap on the screen. You can choose sofas, rugs, tables, fridges, or any other home product that you want, and virtually place them wherever you like.
The discovery doesn’t end there: Bixby Vision offers even more services that allow you to visualize your new appliances and furniture from the comfort of your own home. The AR service can apply a 3D effect to key Samsung home appliances, allowing you to see how doors open, for example. Collaborating with U.S. online furniture company, Wayfair, Bixby Vision’s home décor function runs automatically whenever you encounter 3D content on the website within the Samsung Internet app, enabling you to see what the product would look like in your room without leaving your house.
“We are planning to increase the types of home appliances and furniture that support the home décor function,” said Martin Lee of Product Strategy team at Samsung Electronics.

Check for the Right Fit

With the Galaxy S10 5G, you can make speedy assessments of an object’s dimensions without frantically searching for the tape measure. Using the 3D Depth Camera on the Galaxy S10 5G, the Quick Measure app shows you the height, width and length of the object captured by your camera. This feature makes it easier for you to buy a mattress that fits your bed frame, or a set of chairs that are the right height for your kitchen table.

Samsung Electronics today announced that the Galaxy S10 5G has received the number one spots in DxOMark’s camera rankings for both its rear and front-facing cameras. DxOMark is the trusted independent testing standard for mobile camera image quality. Using rigorous testing protocols, DxOMark provides consumers with an impartial and reliable rating for smartphone camera performance and quality.
The Galaxy S10 5G’s rear camera photo and video capabilities were both ranked number one on the DxOMark Mobile scale, achieving an overall score of 112, with 117 in photo and 100 in video, the first device to hit 100 bar. DxOMark’s testing recognizes that the Galaxy S10 5G’s rear camera features fast and accurate autofocus, capturing photos that have a good level of detail preservation, color rendering and exposure under various conditions.
The Galaxy S10 5G also scored first place on the DxOMark Selfie ranking for its front camera with an overall score of 97, receiving a score of 101 in the photo category, and 90 in the video category. To evaluate the Galaxy S10 5G’s camera performance, DxOMark tested Exposure and Contrast, Color, Autofocus, Texture, Noise, Flash, Artifacts, Zoom and Bokeh under low light, indoor and bright light conditions.
The Galaxy S10 5G features a professional-grade camera set-up with a total of six cameras – two on the front and four on the back. Видеть больше, снимать больше

При 123 градусах новый 16-мегапиксельный сверхширокоугольный объектив задней камеры имеет поле зрения как у человеческого глаза. Он охватывает примерно в 4,3 раза большую площадь[3], чем широкоугольный объектив с углом обзора 77 градусов. Сверхширокоугольный объектив идеально подходит для съёмки пейзажей, крупных панорам (как горизонтальных, так и вертикальных), или просто для того, чтобы уместить всю семью в одном кадре.

Впервые на смартфоне применена функция стабилизации видео Super Steady. Она в 3 раза лучше, чем традиционные технологии выравнивания «дрожащих» кадров, что позволяет записывать плавное видео.
Технология динамического отображения тонов обеспечивает в 2,1 раза более широкий цветовой диапазон, чем SDR, и оптимизирует цвета для каждой сцены.
Модель Galaxy S10 5G объединяет в себе возможности камеры профессионального уровня, предлагая в общей сложности 6 объективов – 2 спереди и 4 сзади. В дополнение к объективам, представленным в Galaxy S10+, модель 5G оснащена линзой глубины 3D (3D-Depth) нового поколения. Она точно фиксирует глубину, измеряя время, необходимое для отражения инфракрасного светового сигнала, исходящего от объекта съёмки. Камера использует полученную информацию о глубине, чтобы улучшить качество изображений в портретном стиле и использовать новые функции, такие как Video Live focus и Quick Measure. When tested by the experts at DisplayMate, the Dynamic AMOLED display received a 0.4 Just Noticeable Color Difference (JNCD) score. An improvement on the Galaxy S9’s 0.7 JNCD rating, this score confirms the Galaxy S10’s exceptionally accurate color reproduction. In other words, the colors you see on Samsung’s new smartphones are a near-perfect match to colors in real life.
The company’s latest groundbreaking display is also the first smartphone display in the world to support HDR10+: a next-generation open standard for high dynamic range (HDR) video. Beefed-Up Biometric Security

Embedded beneath the Dynamic AMOLED display is Samsung’s new, in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner,4 which offers vault-like security to keep your device safe.
The scanner works by emitting ultrasonic waves that map the unique pattern of your fingerprint by sensing the tiny air gaps between your finger and the screen. That wave data is then sent back to the scanner and analyzed by the phone’s main chipset in order to determine whether it’s a match.
It works in the blink of an eye, and features 3D anti-spoofing technology that applies a machine learning-based algorithm to the on-screen fingerprint to offer a high level of security. This ensures that your phone will only open once it’s registered your physical fingerprint, and not an image of it. Its security is backed by the world’s first FIDO Alliance Biometric Component certification, and it’s been tested to work in the most challenging of conditions, including in sub-zero temperatures and under bright sunlight.

Instant Insight with Bixby Vision

Say you’re in the middle of making dinner and you need to double check exactly how much of a particular ingredient the recipe calls for. To offer users more freedom to utilize Bixby’s handy button, the Galaxy S10 introduces Bixby Key Customization.5 Now, you can customize the button to launch Bixby with either a single or double press, and map the other option to launch your favorite app or Quick command. Speaking of Quick commands, Bixby’s update also makes it easy to share customized Quick commands with your friends.
