Samsung представил флагманский мобильный процессор Exynos 9825










Незадолго до презентации флагманских смартфонов Galaxy Note10/Note10+ подразделение Samsung Seniconductor представило Exynos-9825 — первый в мире процессор, изготовленный по 7-нм техпроцессу с применением экстремальной ультрафиолетовой литографии (EUV). Новейшая мобильная платформа, установленная в Galaxy Note10/10+, отличается улучшенной производительностью и энергоэффективностью по сравнению с прошлогодней моделью.
Предыдущий Exynos 9820 был изготовлен по 8-нм технологии. Exynos 9825 использует 7-нм техпроцесс при той же конфигурации: 8-ядерный процессор с 2-мя ядрами Cortex-A75, 4-мя Cortex-A55 и 2-мя вспомогательными высокопроизводительными ядрами. Графический чип остался прежним — ARM Mali-G76 MP12.
Новинка поддерживает аппаратное декодирование видео с разрешением 8К при частоте 30 кадров в секунду, а также 4К при 150 кадрах в секунду (150 fps). У платформы имеется встроенный модем LTE Cat. 20, предусмотрена возможность подключения 5G-модема Exynos 5100. За работу искусственного интеллекта и функций нейронных сетей отвечает интегрированный модуль (NPU).
Максимальное разрешение дисплеев, с которым совместима платформа, составляет 4096x2160 или 3840х2400 пикселей. Реализована поддержка оперативной памяти LPDDR4Х и накопителей стандарта UFS 3.0/UFS 2.1. Более развёрнутая информация была представлена журналистам в ходе презентации Galaxy Note10 и Note10+ в Нью-Йорке.

Samsung объявил о начале производства новых процессоров Exynos 7 Series 7904 для смартфонов среднего класса



Samsung анонсировал новый мобильный процессор Exynos 7 Series 7904, изготавливающийся по 14-нанометровой технологии.
Чип предназначен для смартфонов среднего уровня, большая часть которых будет реализовываться на индийском рынке. SoC имеет 8 вычислительных ядер: 2 ARM Cortex-A73 с тактовой частотой до 1,8 ГГц и 6 ARM Cortex-A53 с тактовой частотой до 1,6 ГГц.
Графическая подсистема использует контроллер Mali-G71 MP2. Поддерживаются дисплеи с разрешением до Full HD+ (2400 × 1080 точек). Допускается использование тройных камер, а разрешение фронтального и тыльного сенсора может достигать 32Мп.
Платформа Exynos 7 Series 7904 обеспечивает поддержку беспроводной связи Wi-Fi 802.11ac и Bluetooth 5.0, FM-радио, спутниковой навигации GPS/ГЛОНАСС/BeiDou/Galileo, флэш-памяти eMMC 5.1 и оперативной памяти LPDDR4x.
В состав процессора входит модем LTE Cat. 12 3CA, позволяющий загружать данные через сотовую сеть со скоростью до 600 Мбит/с. Скорость передачи информации в сторону базовой станции может достигать 150 Мбит/с.

Samsung Launches Exynos 7 Series 7904 Mobile Processor, Tailored for Indian Consumers

Samsung Electronics, the world leader in advanced semiconductor technology, today announced its latest Exynos 7 Series 7904, a mobile processor with enhanced multimedia support that allows high-end features in mid-range smartphones. Customized for the Indian consumer needs, the cost effective processor is optimized to deliver high-end multimedia capabilities in the mid-range smartphones.
Exynos 7904 delivers fast octa-core performance required for nimble web browsing and app launching on a smartphone. The cutting-edge technology enables enhanced user experience through excellent network speed and smooth multitasking while consuming less power.

Exynos 7904’s image signal processor (ISP) supports single-camera resolution of up to 32-megapixels (MP) and an advanced triple-camera setup for high-resolution imaging and a number of new features. For instance, a third camera in a smartphone can take panoramic pictures with wide angles or add bokeh effects for aesthetic blur in portraits or scenery shots with more ease. The new mobile processor supports up to faster FHD at 120 frames-per-second (fps) or UHD at 30fps of video playback, and up to FHD+ display for vivid and near perfect mobile entertainment.
Built on a 14-nanometer (nm) process, the Exynos 7 Series 7904 is equipped with two Cortex®-A73 cores that run at 1.8-gigahertz (GHz), and six Cortex®-A53 cores at 1.6 GHz. With a powerful Cortex®-A73 as a ‘big-core’ Exynos 7904 delivers fast single-core performance required for nimble web browsing, app launching and many other key operations on a smartphone. The embedded LTE modem supports Cat.12 3-carrier aggregation (CA) for 600-magbits-per-second (Mbps) downlink speed.
