Старшая модификация спортивного трэкера Samsung Galaxy Fit выходит на рынки Европы и Японии

Ранее в этом месяце увидел свет новый фитнес-трэкер Galaxy Fitⓔ, а теперь Samsung запускает его старшую модификацию Samsung Galaxy Fit.
С сегодняшнего дня устройство уже доступно в Испании, Италии, Южной Корее и Нидерландах, а 13 июня появится на японском рынке.
Новый Galaxy Fit поставляется с цветным однодюймовым AMOLED-дисплеем и доступен в двух цветах: чёрный и серебристый.
Гаджет имеет защиту от воды (до 5 атмосфер) и встроенный набор функций для отслеживания фитнеса. Настройки осуществляются с синхронизированного смартфона. Розничная цена в Европе составляет 99 евро.
Появление этого устройства на российском рынке ожидается в первых числах июня.

New Samsung Galaxy Fit fitness tracker launched

Earlier this month we saw the new Galaxy Fitⓔ and now Samsung has launched another fitness tracker, the Samsung Galaxy Fit.
The Samsung Galaxy Fit has launched in Spain, Italy, South Korea and the Netherlands from today, the device will also launch in Russia on the 3 June, and in Japan on the 13th of June.
The new Galaxy Fit comes with a 0.95 inch color AMOLED display and the device will be available in a choice of two different colors, black and silver.
It is waterproof up to 5 ATM and it comes with a range of fitness tracking features built in, it retails for €99 in Europe.

В распоряжении редакции профильного ресурса SamMobile оказалась информация, связанная с разработкой нового носимого устройства Samsung на операционной платформе TIZEN. Модель с маркировкой SM-R500 получила кодовое название Pulse. Судя по всему, этот девайс в большей степени будет ориентироваться на спортсменов и любителей фитнеса.
Согласно классификации, Pulse является менее сложным устройством, чем актуальные флагманские модели Galaxy Watch. Скорее всего это будет следующее поколение часов Samsung Gear Sport (теперь уже под брэндом Galaxy) или продолжение линейки фитнес-трэкеров Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro (также под брэндом Galaxy).
Начальная версия программного обеспечения у будущей новинки - R500XXE0ARL5.
Предполагается, что этот гаджет получит расширенную поддержку интеллектуального помощника Bixby, включая систему уведомлений о входящих сообщениях Bixby Reminder. В то же время, ввиду более низкого класса указанного устройства, оно будет лишено встроенного LTE-модуля и не сможет полноценно заменить смартфон, как, например, самая продвинутая версия смарт-часов Galaxy Watch LTE.
О дате появления нового устройства в продаже пока ничего неизвестно.

Samsung is developing a new TIZEN-powered device, code-named Pulse

At the disposal of the editorial board of SamMobile's profile resource, there appeared information related to the development of a new Samsung wearable device on the TIZEN operating platform. The model marked SM-R500 was code-named Pulse. Apparently, this device will be more focused on athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
According to the classification, Pulse is a less complex device than the current flagship models of the Galaxy Watch. Most likely it will be the next generation of Samsung Gear Sport watches (now under the Galaxy brand) or the continuation of the Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro line of fitness trackers (also under the Galaxy brand).
The initial software version of the future device is R500XXE0ARL5. It is assumed that this gadget will receive enhanced support for intelligent assistant Bixby, including the system of notifications about incoming messages Bixby Reminder. At the same time, due to the lower class of the device, it will be deprived of the built-in LTE module and will not be able to fully replace the smartphone, such as the most advanced version of the Galaxy Watch LTE smartwatch.
The date of the appearance of the new device on sale is still unknown.

Samsung готовит к выпуску носимое TIZEN-устройство, сочетающее преимущества смарт-часов и фитнес-трэкера

Достоянием СМИ стала деловая переписка сотрудников креативной лаборатории Samsung SmartLab, благодаря чему мы узнали, что южнокорейская корпорация готовит к выпуску новое носимое устройство. Судя по всему, оно должно вобрать в себя лучшие черты популярных смарт-часов Gear S3 и фитнес-трэкера Gear Fit 2.
Внешне девайс будет напоминать умные часы, но только более компактные чем Gear S3, с узкими сменными ремешками. В переписке также упоминается о качественной защите от воды (с устройством можно плавать в бассейне, что особенно важно для профессиональных спортсменов) и оптимизированном интерфейсе с новыми виджетами, которые позволят владельцу легко мониторить свою активность в течение дня и даже ночью.
Устройство позволяет следить за физическим состоянием и весом, анализировать расход калорий и может рекомендовать пользователю комплекс упражнений в том случае, если программный алгоритм зафиксирует длительный период отсутствия активности.
Как и предыдущие носимые устройства Samsung, новый гаджет будет работать на базе операционной системы TIZEN, которая себя отлично зарекомендовала.
Срок выпуска изделия пока неизвестен, равно как не имеется точных данных о его аппаратной начинке. Но если информация утекла непосредственно из ресурса SmartLab Plus, то сомневаться в скорой презентации новинки почти не приходится. Тем более что разработчики попросили коллег делиться своими слоганами, которые могут быть использованы в рекламе продукта.

Samsung’s Upcoming Wearable Device is a Fitness Tracker Hybrid

Samsung has a new wearable device in works which seems to be a hybrid of a fitness tracker and a smartwatch. The features of this mysterious wearable tech that have been revealed by Samsung hints that it is not the forthcoming Gear S4 smartwatch.
The information on this device has appeared through a survey email that Samsung has sent out through its SmartLab Plus program. Through the survey, Samsung is seeking ideas on the taglines that can be used to advertise its forthcoming product. In the survey email, Samsung has revealed that this new product offers some of the best features from Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch and Gear Fit 2 fitness band.
Samsung has further stated that the new wearable device appears like a smartwatch instead of an activity tracker. It will be arriving with a small-sized body and slimmer watch bands. The device will be equipped with user-replaceable bands which will allow customers to personalize its appeal.
It will be a water-resistant device that will let users wear it even while swimming. Some of the other features that will be available on this wearable device are activity tracking, active sports, weight management, calorie management and coaching. These features will not only appeal beginners but also fitness experts.
It will be coming with a revamped UI with enhanced widgets for glanceable information for viewing the progress of fitness goals. Smart inactivity alert is another feature of this mysterious smart device that will remind its users to be active when doing a sedentary job. Since the email is seeking opinions on taglines for this upcoming wearable tech, Samsung is also asking the recipients of the email to consider the taglines of its other smartwatches and fitness trackers.
The email does not contain any information on when Samsung will be releasing this new device. Samsung sells its smartwatches as Gear S products whereas its fitness trackers are sold as Gear Fit products. There is no confirmation on whether the new product will belong to any of these branding or it will be introduced under a new brand name.
