MWC19: Samsung анонсировал новые модели смартфонов серии Galaxy A

На Всемирном мобильном конгрессе (MWC19), проходящем в эти дни в испанской Барселоне, Samsung официально представил смартфоны среднего уровня Galaxy A30 и Galaxy A50, работающие на Android 9.0 (Pie).
Новинки получили дисплей Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED размером 6,4 дюйма. Разрешение панели составляет 2340×1080 точек. При этом у версии Galaxy A50 имеется подэкранный сканер отпечатков пальцев, который на сегодняшний день считается наиболее продвинутым вариантом идентификации пользователя.
Samsung Galaxy A30 несёт на борту 8-ядерный процессор Exynos 7870 с частотой до 1,8ГГц, 3 или 4Гб оперативной памяти, флэш-накопитель объёмом 32 или 64 Гб. Сзади расположена двойная камера с датчиками на 16 млн и 5 млн пикселей. Разрешение фронтальной камеры — 16 млн пикселей. Устройство оснащено тыльным дактилоскопическим сенсором.
Более мощный смартфон Galaxy A50 получил чип Exynos 9610 с 8-ю ядрами и тактовой частотой до 2,3 ГГц. Покупатели смогут выбирать между версиями с 4 и 6Гб ОЗУ и флэш-накопителем вместимостью 64 и 128Гб соответственно. Основная камера выполнена в виде тройного модуля с сенсорами на 25 млн, 8 млн и 5 млн пикселей. Фронтальная камера использует 25-мегапиксельную матрицу.
Оба коммуникатора получили адаптеры Wi-Fi 802.11ac и Bluetooth 5, приёмник GPS/ГЛОНАСС, модуль NFC, порт USB Type-C, FM-тюнер, слот microSD и 3,5-мм гнездо для наушников. Ёмкость аккумуляторной батареи составляет 4000 мА·ч. Габариты: 158,5×74,7×7,7 мм.
В продажу Samsung Galaxy A30 и Galaxy A50 поступят в середине марта. Цена будет объявлена позднее.

Galaxy A50

Samsung приберёг технологию интегрированного в дисплей сканера для юбилейного Galaxy S10

Южнокорейский портал ETNews со ссылкой на источники в Samsung Display опубликовал информацию, которая явно указывает на одну из ключевых "фишек" в будущем флагмане Galaxу S10.
Мобильное подразделение Samsung Electronics приняло решение коммерциализировать дисплеи с системой распознавания отпечатков пальцев именно в этой модели. Samsung Display займётся производством экранов нового типа, а Qualcomm предоставит часть элементной базы.
Нововведение добавится к списку других отличительных особенностей будущего флагмана, к коим также относятся обновлённая система распознавания лица, уникальная камера и т.д.

Таким образом, Samsung станет главным конкурентом Vivo, которая активно продвигает технологию интегрированного в экран дактилоскопа с начала 2018 года. Однако в отличие от китайцев, Samsung будет использовать собственную разработку дисплея с интегрированным генератором ультразвука, добавив лишь сторонний сенсор от Qualcomm, в то время как Vivo использует разработку Synaptics, делая большие отчисления за указанную технологию. Это означает, что в погоне за первенством Vivo заведомо снизила прибыльность своего мобильного бизнеса.
На неофициальном уровне в Samsung говорят, что их решение работает лучше, чем у китайских конкурентов, поскольку уже проводились многочисленные сравнительные тесты.
Предполагается, что Galaxy S10 будет представлен раньше обычного, так как к началу главного для мобильной индустрии мероприятия MWC 2019 (конец февраля-начало марта) вендор хочет поразить публику смартфоном нового поколения, оснащённого гибким дисплеем.

В то же время новость о встроенном в экран "десятки" дактилоскопе не порадует любителей серии Galaxy Note, 9-я инкарнация которой будет лишена такого преимущества из-за стремления производителя сделать юбилейный Galaxy S наиболее продвинутой моделью.
Появившиеся в Сети рендеры Samsung Galaxy Note9 явно указывают на наличие отдельно расположенного дактилоскопа на задней панели.

Но Samsung постарается компенсировать это относительное неудобство другими приятными для гиков новшествами вроде лучших параметров ОЗУ, увеличенного объёма аккумуляторной батареи и рекордно высокого объёма встроенной флэш-памяти. Кроме того, ожидается поддержка сменных карт microSD 512Гб, что в совокупности доведёт объём доступной памяти в старшей модификации до 1Тб.

Samsung Galaxy S10 in-display sensor confirmed; triple-lens camera suggested

Samsung has finally settled on using Qualcomm's ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor in the Galaxy S10 according to Korean news outlet ET News.
A statement from the South Korean tech giant reads: "Samsung Electronics has decided to commercialise the display fingerprint reader on the Galaxy S10. We know Samsung Display is in charge of the display and Qualcomm is in the spotlight." Qualcomm's ultrasonic sensor will be more accurate than some other in-display sensors we've seen from Chinese phone manufacturers, as it emits ultrasonic waves that can detect minute details in a users' fingerprint. 
Another feature said to make its way into the Galaxy S10 is a triple-lens camera.
No exact details of Samsung's alleged triple-lens system have been confirmed, by KB Securities analyst Kim Dong-won says it will be a feature of the Galaxy S10. He adds that there will be a 3D sensor in the phone, presumably on the front for facial recognition purposes. While Samsung wouldn't be first to market with three lenses, it claims it would rather provide a better user experience than be the first to introduce a new technology.
The launch of the Galaxy S10 is expected to happen sometime in January 2018, considering that the company is reserving the launch of the foldable smartphone for the MWC 2019 exhibition.
